After almost 2 full seasons without a win we were going into week number 10 playing Canton Timken. We were playing them away at Fawcett Stadium in Canton, next to the Football Hall of Fame. This was huge for us as high school kids. We were going to get to play on a field were NFL greats have played! We went into the game with a mission and at the end of the 4th quarter we came out on top! It was a feeling I can't even describe, after all the heartache and loss over the past 2 seasons, we had finally won! That is my favorite high school football memory as a Comet.
